For this stunning 14-year-old, only unpeated barley from the innovative and unique Straight Neck Pot Stills at Loch Lomond is used. This gives the Loch Lomond single malt its unmistakably fruity character. The whisky is matured for up to twelve months in refill American oak and French oak casks from the Limousin region.

This whisky combines distillates from both the Straight Neck and traditional Swan Neck stills. Initially matured in American oak casks and then finished in heavily charred barrels, it delivers a rich mouthfeel with notes of orange, pear, and melted brown sugar, layered with dark chocolate and a subtle smoky finish. This expression pays tribute to the distillery’s remarkable technical expertise and is the result of extensive research, experimentation, and the skill of its master blenders, distillers, and coopers.

Nose: Toffee, apple, caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Loch Lomond Signature is a luxurious blended whisky, matured slowly over time in a 100-cask Solera system. This Solera system combines Oloroso sherry casks with freshly charred American oak barrels to highlight Loch Lomond’s distinctive intensity and smoothness.

Nose: Aromatic, reminiscent of a liqueur wine. Full-bodied and rich with sultana notes and subtle sherry nuances. Not overpowering, yet clear and direct. Almost smoky as the darker fruit notes fade away.

Palate: Malty and solid on the palate. Flavors of cinnamon, ginger, and dark sugar unfold in the mouth. On the finish, the dried fruit notes develop into a nearly blackcurrant character, slightly astringent, with the sweetness balanced toward the end by a sharp hint of lemon.

This special edition of Loch Lomond, released exclusively for the Austrian market in 2023, was distilled in 2013 and carefully matured for nine years in a Rivesaltes sweet wine cask (cask number 22/718-5). The limited maturation in this unique cask imparts rich, complex flavors, combining sweet wine notes with the distillery’s signature fruity character. Only 281 bottles were released, bottled at cask strength, making this a rare and highly collectible expression for whisky enthusiasts.

As the exclusive importer for Austria, we have access to a wide range of high-quality whiskies, including limited editions produced specifically for the Austrian market.

This single malt was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 at cask strength of 56.3%. It is unpeated, non-chill filtered, and strictly limited to a total of 219 bottles. The whisky matured in refill bourbon casks, followed by a 6–12 month finish in first-fill Sauternes hogshead casks.

Tasting Notes:
Layers of sweet syrup and fresh vanilla are followed by juicy peas and sweet coconut. Candied lemon peel and a touch of ginger come next, before red apple and warming oak spices complete the experience.
